Haddonfield Public Schools are comprised of three elementary schools, J. Fithian Tatem, Central and Elizabeth Haddon School, and the Haddonfield Middle School and Haddonfield Memorial High School. The High School competes in both Group 1 and 2 depending on the sport and season and has been the Shop Rite Cup Winner for outstanding achievement for multiple years. Several Haddonfield athletes have competed at the Olympics and many return to town to coach and teach at the high school where their athletic careers began.
Haddonfield Public Schools are a walking district, which helps to build community ties as students and parents walk together to school. The district adopted a Walking School Bus program and many families recall walking and biking to school as some of their fondest memories in town. Community is part of what makes the school district so special and what brings many families back to town generation after generation. As the district motto says, “Growing in Excellence” is the focus of academic, athletic, arts and character education across the schools in the district.
